Finance Executive

Headquartered in Malta, our B2C eCommerce company has a strong presence across Germany, Austria, France, and Spain. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Finance Executive to support our financial operations and contribute to strategic growth.

In this role, you’ll assist with day-to-day finance functions including budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing processes. You’ll work closely with our finance and leadership teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our financial systems.

This role will be based in our Malta Office.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day accounting duties (postings, procurement and payments)
  • Posting general entries to maintain accurate financial records
  • Performing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions in relation to corporate bank accounts, payment service providers and suppliers
  • Assisting month-end process leading to the submission of the monthly management accounts and other reporting
  • Assisting in audits, providing necessary financial data and reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT and tax returns
  • Assisting in the process of consolidation of the quarterly and annual results
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position.
  • Education: Min Diploma in Accounting from a recognised institution
  • Having a ACCA Accreditation or having started the process of certification would be an advantage
  • Ability to work well in a team and be self-driven
  • Able to meet deadlines and a proactive approach to work.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft excel.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite and Shireburn Indigo software is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Job Conditions

  • Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
